Asheville Home Builders Association (AHBA) – Created in 1966, AHBA is a builder’s advocate in the community. Its mission is to educate and support members, contribute to the local community, and represent the local, state, and national building industry. A new slogan, Bringing Professionalism to our Industry, represents a re-commitment to raise the bar in building mountain structures. Affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders and the North Carolina Home Builders Association, the Asheville HBA has more than 550 members.
Historic Downtown Hendersonville – Entered into the National Register of Historic Places in March, 1988, our Main Street District, as it is know, is significant to our community’s economic and cultural growth. We love being part of the thriving retail and service businesses that residents and visitors alike visit throughout the year. Downtown Hendersonville has been a part of the National Main Street Program since 1986; promoting the preservation and revitalization of the town’s architectural heritage. The National Main Street Program is under the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Hendersonville Home Builders Association – What does this mean to you? Our membership provides an affiliation with the North Carolina Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders, so you can be assured that we are up to date on local, regional, and national codes, requirements, and laws that may govern your project.
In 2014, the Home Builders and Contractors Association of Brevard merged with the HHBA. The association includes building professionals, contractors, service providers, and other associates engaged in business in the industry, many of which we know, trust, and work with. If you are looking for an architect or lighting professional, give us a call, and we’d be happy to provide a recommendation. Members are involved in the residential, commercial, remodeling, and land development activities and services.
RelyLocal of Hendersonville – Packard Cabinetry is proud to be part of our community’s “Rely Local” campaign. The “buy local” grass roots effort helps spread the message and educate consumers about the importance of helping each other, our benevolent organizations, and our local businesses, in order to have a strong local economy.
National Kitchen and Bath Association – Through our membership in the industry’s leading not-for-profit trade association, and its local NKBA Carolinas Chapter, you can be assured that our designers and staff not only have access to a complete Professional Resource Library, but are constantly learning more about all segments of the kitchen and bath industry. An NKBA member is professional and ethical, and through the association, Packard Cabinetry, is creating more energy-efficient living spaces and environmentally friendly practices. Each year our team brings new ideas, products, and services to our clients from the annual Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) – the world’s largest show of its kind.
Interior Design Society – The Interior Design Society focuses on building community and relationships within its members as well as the communities in which their businesses serve.
