4th Packard BBQ Draws AVL-Hendersonville Kitchen & Bath Crowd
October 6, 2014Last week, I and John Packard, who flew in from New York, had the pleasure of hosting our Fourth Annual BBQ to the trade. What a great event. SubZero/Wolf’s corporate executive chef, George Laudun, visited and prepared some delicious food on an outdoor grill for the group. Trust me, it would have make an Aussie jealous. The (always) lively event was attended by several Asheville and Hendersonville kitchen & bath designers, architects, house designers, interior designers, home builders and associated professionals. It was a sincere pleasure for John and I to be able to appreciate our partners, friends, and clients in this way every year. It was a fun crowd and we want to thank all of those in attendance.
Now for the food…
Who could turn down Chef George Laudun’s Australian lamb chops? Other delicious items on the menu included marinated and grilled swordfish, smoked spicy sausage, cran-broccoli salad, asparagus, and a number of decadent desserts, including a cheese platter.
It was also a great opportunity to introduce Packard Cabinetry as a premier Rutt dealer. Theirs is a beautiful line of custom cabinetry. It’s artistic, luxurious and their craftsmanship is very high quality…just what our partners and clients want.
Special thanks to Keith Arnold from Haywood Appliances, Dan Farrell and Chef Laudun from Sub-Zero Group Southeast, Inc. for supporting the annual event and providing the grill food. We hope to see you all again soon (maybe at the Kitchen & Bath Show).
